Pro Automotive & Diesel (P.A.D.) is a one-of-a-kind, multifaceted, state-of-the-art, truly full-service, high-capacity automotive, light truck, and diesel repair facility serving the northwest. At present, we operate with over 25 lifts, with plans for expansion, and boast an exceptionally diverse team of technicians. Our master technicians specialize in a range of vehicles, from Ford and Dodge diesel to Mercedes, BMW, and hybrids. Many of our technicians come from the performance world, leveraging their expertise to address the limitations of today’s factory vehicle engineering.
We’re proud to host the largest and most advanced suspension and undercarriage operation in the NW. Equipped with three of the latest 16K Hunter alignment racks and a team of master technicians trained in advanced vehicle driver-assist technologies, we’re well-prepared to tackle the complexities of today’s late-model vehicle steering systems. Our undercarriage team offers an extensive selection of tires, wheels, truck accessories, and adventure van lift kits.
P.A.D. is your one-stop shop for accessories and installations. We believe in providing consistent, timely service while maintaining quality by performing as many repair and rebuild operations in-house as possible. This commitment is encapsulated in our trademark motto, “We Do Everything.” Some of the unique services we offer include in-house transmission and transfer case rebuilding by our 30+ year master transmission technician, as well as differential rebuilding and re-gearing performed by our suspension master technicians.
Adam Ofstad
Our Story
After years of honing his skills as an automotive and diesel technician, Pro Automotive & Diesel was established in late 2006 by the current owner/operator, Adam Ofstad, in a modest 40 x 60 garage. Adam’s journey into entrepreneurship followed his completion of the fire academy to become a professional Firefighter/Paramedic. Quickly gaining recognition for his diverse repair capabilities, Adam expanded the operation, adding three lifts and welcoming two additional technicians to accommodate the growing demand. As word of Adam’s expertise spread, so did his vision for what would become today’s P.A.D. facility. In 2013, he secured the land, marking the first step towards realizing his dream. Over the next three years, Adam, alongside his friends and local helpers, meticulously planned and executed the construction process, pouring the footings, laying the slab, and completing the building’s construction and outfitting by 2018.
Leveraging his extensive network and reputation, Adam recruited top specialty technicians from across the metro area to join him in establishing a career at the new P.A.D. facility. As construction progressed, Adam and his team wasted no time, starting light truck work on the newly installed alignment racks even before the building’s interior walls were erected. By early 2019, the team was fully assembled, and Pro Automotive & Diesel officially opened its doors, marking the beginning of a new chapter in automotive excellence.
PAD Towing is an integral part of our comprehensive automotive service network, seamlessly complementing our other brands: Pro Autobody, Pro Automotive & Diesel, Diesel Fuel Injection Service, and PAD Heavy Diesel & Commercial Tire. Together, we offer a full spectrum of services, from emergency towing and roadside assistance to expert autobody repair, diesel engine diagnostics, and commercial tire solutions. Our unified approach ensures that no matter the issue, our customers have access to top-quality care and expertise across all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
